Created by a locals social enterprenuer, the Kurabesi Explorer will not only provide you with a holiday of a lifetime, but will also give you the opportunity to engage with and support local indigenous communities, enjoying their warm hospitality, while contributing to community projects.

The Kurabesi Explorer strives to provide a unique eco-tourism experience to our guests. On a journey tailored to your needs, you will enjoy magnificent panoramas and diverse cultures in places such as Maluku, Ceram, Halmahera and Papua. This is one of the last frontiers for the survival of endangered forest and marine habitats and the magnificent species that live within them. It is one of the few areas with forests completely untouched by man and it includes some of the oldest forest communities in the world. Holidaying in this region is a privilege and many people feel that they would like to give back, which is why we work with Bentara Papua. This local foundation aims to be a leader in sustainable tourism by promoting community conservation with a focus on marine, coastal and forest environments.
